Earls Court Masterplan
Created to celebrate the landmark planning submission for Earls Court, this illustration distils a complex masterplan of architecture, landscape, and urban design into a single artwork. Alongside press and project showcasing, the piece was also transformed into bespoke 1000-piece puzzles for corporate gifting.

Capturing the Scale of Earls Court
As Central London’s largest cleared development site, Earls Court is a monumental 40-acre project combining 4,000 new homes, sprawling green spaces, cultural venues, and innovation hubs. Capturing its sheer scale meant condensing a vast, multifaceted ecosystem of architecture, nature, and community life into a single drawing.
Aerial drone photography for the site was also conducted, on behalf of Studio Egret West.
The illustration synthesises the masterplan’s complex architectural and landscape layers, reimagining them as a stylised tapestry of distinct character areas.

The flat, digital patchwork style distilled the massive amount of architectural detail down to the masterplan’s key moves.
These include the primary North–South and East–West pedestrian routes, the main parks and plazas, and the rhythmic arrangement of the surrounding buildings.
The Earls Court illustration was awarded a Commended prize at the London Creates: Drawing of the Year Awards 2026.
Out of 9,000+ international entries, the illustration was selected for special recognition by the judging panel and went on display at the Truman Brewery in London.
Beyond its role in press releases and project showcases, the illustration was turned into a limited-run, bespoke 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle for corporate gifting.
100 sets were produced and distributed to key partners and stakeholders. The puzzles proved extremely popular, offering recipients a memorable, tactile way to explore the detail, character areas, and overall vision of the Earls Court masterplan (piece by piece!).
